Dr. Necip Sayiner Dr. Necip Sayiner

Dr. Necip Sayiner serves as Silicon Laboratories president and chief executive officer and is a member of the board of directors. Necip joined Silicon Laboratories in September 2005, and he brings to the company a strong mix of deep technical expertise in mixed-signal technologies and a proven capability to manage and grow large, diversified businesses.

Prior to joining Silicon Laboratories, Necip had a very fast rise within management at Agere Systems, where the 40 year old was vice president and general manager of the approximately $450 million Enterprise and Networking division. Necip established a track record of successful product execution, improvements in operational performance, and growth initiatives with aggressive new product introductions. Necip’s ability to transform mature, legacy-oriented businesses to growth-oriented, highly profitable enterprises was a key factor in his success as the vice president and general manager of Agere’s Networking IC division. Necip also held several senior design management positions, and he holds multiple patents related to data detection schemes.

Necip holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and physics from Bosphorus University in Turkey. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Southern Illinois University and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Necip is married with three children and spends much of his personal time with his family. He enjoys traveling, basketball and tennis.

Cirrus Logic

Dr. Jason Rhode received his doctorate and masters degrees in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University and holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from San Diego State University.

Rhode joined Cirrus Logic in 1995 as an analog design engineer and led the Mixed-Signal Audio product line. During his tenure as general manager, he reinvigorated Cirrus Logic’s product line of analog and mixed-signal converter and interface products for consumer, professional and automotive audio applications. Previously, Rhode served as director of marketing for analog and mixed-signal products.

In 2007 he was named Cirrus Logic's President and Chief Executive Officer.

A member of IEEE, Rhode has been issued 19 U.S. patents in the area of mixed-signal technologies.
